Helen Porter – Exploring the Voice 15-17 October 2021

We are delighted to welcome the multi-talented Helen Porter to her first weekend at Hill Cottage.

This retreat is for singers who would enjoy embracing a variety of styles of music, including classical, musical theatre, jazz and folk, in order to fully explore the potential that lies behind every voice.

Each genre requires a differing approach to vocal technique. You will learn how to find voices you never knew you had, sing in genres you perhaps never thought you would, and inhabit every voice from within.

The weekend is suitable for reasonably confident singers who would like to further explore their potential. Whilst working mainly as an ensemble, there will also be some opportunity for solo singing, for those who would like it.
