Discover the mindful art of mandala painting and wonder of sacred geometry, on a day retreat with artist Anne Thomas.

Mandala making can help you feel more balanced and calmer within yourself. Taking inspiration from the wisdom of nature and multi-cultural mandala art, you’ll learn how to create geometric patterns using the ancient tools of compass, straight edge and pencil; adding colour with watercolour paint, pencils and pens.

On this day you will creating your own mandala design (rather than colouring in someone else’s) to enable you to discover your own patterns, get a feel for the flow of energy through lines and shapes and produce a design that holds an intention or symbolism that has meaning for you.
